Experience The Inn at Whitewell

The Inn at Whitewell is a historic 14th-century manor house nestled on the banks of the River Hodder in Lancashire's stunning Forest of Bowland. Originally home to Walter Urswick, keeper of the King's Forest, this Grade II listed inn has been lovingly run by the Bowman family for three generations since 1976. With 25 individually designed bedrooms filled with antique furniture, paintings and prints, the inn combines centuries-old character with modern comforts. Head Chef Jamie Cadman, now in his twentieth year, serves award-winning locally sourced cuisine, while the reception doubles as Bowland Forest Vintners, an independent wine merchant. Stone-flagged floors, roaring log fires, and breathtaking riverside views create an unforgettable atmosphere in this multi-award-winning country inn.
